Good morning, Friends!  We are glad to have you join us today.

Our Minister, The Rev. Dr. Victor Gavino, will lead the worship service and accompany the music on the keyboard for the hymn sings.  He will also preach today, and his sermon title is “Looking for the kingdom of God”.  The scripture reading is taken from Ezekiel 17: 22-24 and Matthew 13: 31-33 (ESV).

We hope our service will uplift your heart and fill you with much joy and inspiration.

 

O come, let us sing unto the Lord

As of September 1st, from 11:15 - 11:30 am, we will have a sing-along time of your favourite hymns and songs.
What better way than to make a joyful noise before the worship service begins.

WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY

In Holy Communion, Christ places his table in this World to feed and bless his people.  The Holy Spirit so unites us in Christ that in receiving the bread and wine in faith we share
in his body and blood.  ~ Living Faith, 7.7

All are invited to participate in communion to recognize our unity in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  This universal and inclusive connection is the foundation of the special offering for World Communion Sunday, led by Reverend Beverley Shepansky.

Following the service, you are invited to a fellowship in the Multipurpose Room.
The Fellowship Hour is a great opportunity to gather as a community, mingle, and
make new friends.

Beverages and refreshments will be provided.  Bring a dish to share, if you can.

Please note, that the clean-up will start around 12:20 to 1:00 pm.  Helping hands are always appreciated.

2024 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Central offers various volunteer opportunities for those who would like to get involved. These include helping with:
Worship Service - setup, put away equipment, play the keyboard, be a Liturgist, serve communion, bring flowers
Fellowship Hour - setup, bring food to share, cleanup
Food Ministry - setup, sorting, distribution, clean up, volunteer driver
