Meet the Rev. Dr. Dale Woods

Rev. Dr. Woods is the Presbyter for Mission and Vision in the Presbytery of Westminster, B.C. Prior to taking that position in 2020, he was Principal of The Presbyterian College, Montreal, one of three seminaries of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. He joined Presbyterian College in 2008 as the Director of Pastoral Studies and was appointed Principal in 2015.

Prior to his work at Presbyterian College, Dale served for fourteen years at First Presbyterian Church, Brandon, Manitoba. It was his first congregation following his ordination in 1994 and a congregation from whom he learned much. His main interest of study is in leadership and the spiritual life. When not pursuing those interests, he enjoys spending time woodworking and trying to get a golf ball to fall into a very small hole! He is married to his wife Susan, and they have two adult children, David and Sarah.
