Facility Rental Policies
You must confirm that you have read, understood, and will comply with the facility rental policies in order to access the rental application form.
Rental Policy
Reservation is binding with a completed and signed contract, plus a deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total anticipated rental cost. A refundable cleaning fee of one hundred dollars ($100) will be added to the rental cost. Payment is due in full within 30 days of invoice. Funds are to be remitted to Central Presbyterian Church by cheque or etransfer. For details, email the facilities coordinator.
Rental rates
- Sanctuary (400 people maximum): $180 per hour - includes A/V technician
- Multi-Purpose Room (160 people maximum): $90 per hour
- Kitchen: $50 per hour
- Chapel (60 people maximum): $60 per hour
- Interface Room and Kitchenette (100 people maximum): $78 per hour
- Classroom (12 people maximum): $40 per hour
- Casavant Organ (rehearsals only): $40 per hour
All rentals are for a minimum of 2 hours
For events outside of regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 9AM to 4:30PM) an additional concierge service fee will be charged at a rate of $17.50 per hour, minimum of 2 hours.
We require a cleaning fee of one hundred dollars ($100), refundable if the room or space is left clean and tidy.
Cancellations more than 30 days in advance of an event will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations 30 to 15 days before an event will receive a 50% refund. For cancellations within 14 days of an event, the full rental fee will be assessed. Cancellations must be received via the online cancellation form.
A representative of Central Presbyterian Church will be on site to provide access to the building for your event. If your event occurs outside normal business hours (9:00AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday) you will be charge an additional fee to cover the cost of concierge service.
Unless otherwise approved in writing, any public advertising of your event must state that: “This event does not necessarily reflect the mission of Central Presbyterian Church.” Do not under any circumstances use the church’s phone umber as a contact for your event.
Food is permitted only in the Multi-Purpose Room and Community Interface Room. For events using food, we request you reduce waste by using either biodegradable or recyclable materials. If you wish to use the commercial grade kitchen with access to china and tableware, you must make a reservation for an additional cost. The church requires that the use of its kitchen be in the presence of a food safety monitor. Food consumption is not permitted in the Sanctuary nor in the Chapel.
Consumption of alcoholic beverages on site requires a Special Event Permit (SEP). Central Presbyterian Church does not permit the sale of any alcoholic beverages in the building.
Central Presbyterian Church is a no-smoking facility. Use of tobacco, cigarettes or vaping equipment are not allowed within any space in the building.
The renter agrees to hold Central Presbyterian Church harmless from any and all liability for injury to persons or property occurring as a result of the renter activities and agrees to pay for any and all damage to the facility, building, equipment, which result from any rental activities or is cause by an participant in any rental activity.
