Welcome to our Sunday Service!  Whether you’re a familiar face or visiting for the first time, we are so pleased you could join us.  The Rev. Dr. Victor C. Gavino will lead the Worship Service. and he will deliver his sermon "By Faith We Live"

The Scripture Readings are taken from the New Revised Standard Version:
Habakkuk 1:1-4, 2:1-4 and Romans 1:16-17.  Here is the Order of Worship.  Let’s joined together to praise the Lord together, grow in faith, and encourage one another.

Communion Service

The Rev. Dr. Victor C. Gavino and Rev. Beverley Shepansky will co-preside over Communion this morning.

You are all invited to the Lord's Table.  "In Holy Communion Christ places his table in this world to feed and bless his people.  The Holy Spirit so unites us in Christ that in receiving the bread and wine in faith we share in his body and blood.  Living Faith 7.7.2

 

This Sunday is Session and Bursary Funds Appeal Sunday

The Session Fund is used for outreach ministry such as providing Christmas Hampers, supporting local charity organizations like the Vancouver Covenant House and Vancouver Poppy Fund, and for covering various expenses such as communion supplies, Minister's Synod travel, Annual Congregational Meeting luncheon, gifts and ad hoc items.

The Bursary Fund assists students of the Vancouver School of Theology in their studies to receive training, instruction, and education in Christian services.

Please consider designating some of your contributions to Session/Bursary Funds.  Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Special Announcement: This Sunday, The Rev. Dr. Dale Woods would love to have a casual meeting with the congregation to discuss the future of Central Presbyterian Church and calling a new minister.
He is eager to hear the congregation's views and dreams for CPC going forward.

A light lunch and drinks will be provided.

When leaving, please place used cups and platels dishes on the wash trays. We appreciate your help!
